Wellness, Fitness, and the Global Perspective


Kinesiology 257, 3 units, online

This general education course introduces students to concepts of wellness and fitness with a focus on the global perspective, including social and environmental justice. Blending physical movement with academics, we study basic human anatomy, the principles of exercise and wellness, and the benefits/limitations of wellness policies and practices from around the world.
